My partner and I have been living in our house for 4 years and through those years we've had many renters come and go from the adjoining house. Most of them were never at home but we have a new family who have moved in.

I'm always really self conscious after me and my partner have sex that our neighbours heard everything as we can hear them snoring through the walls and their bed seems to sit directly behind ours with the wall between.

I know it's probably inevitable that they would hear it at some stage but anytime I see them out with their child I feel so anxious that they are judging me for making noise.

Anyone else have these worries?
Any advice or words of wisdom.

Single parent in late 30s, husband left 2 years ago. The kids have found it difficult and still struggle so no jumping into new relationships for me.
I do sometimes just miss sex. Not just orgasms but generally intimacy with it too.

Do I just have to wait it out for me to just not be interested any more? Do I have to accept that part of my life is over?

I’ve had a quick Google which says that it’s a myth and a potential health problem. If we haven’t had sex for around 1-2 weeks (but after foreplay so aroused) everything feels so tight, uncomfortable for me, DP says it feels good. We’re normally more regular but if life has got in the way etc and it’s over a week this is the only way I can describe it? Slightly embarrassing, is it worth a trip to the Drs or has anyone else experienced similar?

If my husband wants sex (usually before bed at night) he will suddenly start touching me down below. I really struggle as I usually don’t already feel turned on and that doesn’t do it for me…I would much rather start with kisses or cuddles or stroking or whatever to get me in the mood. I don’t know what is normal for others though but I have tried saying what I’d like but he just never seems to make the effort and I sort of just end up feeling like a piece of meat and not really worth making the effort for. It just doesn’t feel sexy. I feel like we’ve been married for so long though I don’t know what is normal and if I should just let him get on with it and learn to feel more comfortable with it and if that’s normal for other couples too.
